For me, Urdu is not just a choice or a profession—it is an absolute passion. My relationship with the Urdu language and literature spans nearly 25 years. It all began in childhood, when I would eagerly look for children’s literature in various magazines and periodicals. What started as a simple childhood habit soon transformed into an deep-rooted love, guiding my interest from prose and stories toward the profound world of poetry.

In the early days, I was introduced to the timeless works of legendary poets like Allama Iqbal, Josh Malihabadi and Saghar Siddiqui. As time passed, turning the pages of books became my ultimate comfort—sometimes to escape, sometimes to pass the time, but always to learn. Over the years, I explored contemporary poets and modern prose writers. Attending literary gatherings (Adabi Mehfils) and interacting with various scholars, poets, and writers gradually became a regular and cherished part of my life.

During this journey, reading naturally paved the way for writing, and I began expressing my own thoughts through the pen. Today, as a PhD Scholar in Urdu, this connection has evolved into an eternal, unbreakable bond—one that will remain with me forever, perhaps even beyond this life.
